Our mission at Crippen Elementary is to foster stellar citizenship and academic excellence by providing a supportive and engaging learning environment. We are dedicated to ensuring that every student performs at or above grade level in all subjects through innovative teaching, personalized instruction, and a commitment to continuous growth and development.

Robert L. Crippen

We are named after Robert L. Crippen.  He was the pilot on the first space shuttle mission and the Commander of the space shuttle on three subsequent missions. He was also the director of the Kennedy Space Center for several years. Robert Crippen is a New Caney High School graduate.
