Hello Crippen! My name is Teresa Brent and I am very excited to be the principal of Crippen Elementary. I have been an educator for 30 years and have taught everything from PK to 7th grade in that time. I have been an instructional coach, assistant principal, and instructional specialist at the district level. My most important role is that of mom to 3 amazing adult children and grandma (Momo) to my five precious grandsons. I have a long history with Crippen which includes from the parent point of view, when my children were students and assistant principal a few years ago. I am thrilled to be able to come back to Crippen where we have wonderful students, families, and an amazing staff. I look forward to working with you and seeing all the smiling faces soon.
Thank you for your support,
Ms. Teresa Brent

I am so thankful for and excited about this opportunity to work with the students, teachers, and parents of Robert L. Crippen Elementary. I had the privilege of teaching third grade at Crippen during its opening year in 1996-1997. And now, I have been given the opportunity to return to Crippen as Assistant Principal.
With over 30 years in education, I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach children at various grade levels, as well as serve in leadership roles. I have had the privilege of teaching in both public and private schools, gaining exposure to different teaching philosophies, curricula, and teaching styles. I believe these experiences have provided me with a well-rounded foundation that has made me a better teacher, as well as having prepared me to be an effective school leader, able to support my principal, teachers, and staff members so that they can be successful in challenging students to reach their potential.
Here’s to looking forward to an amazing school year,
Mrs. Jerri Blunt

Hello Crippen Astronauts! I am excited to be one of your Assistant Principals. While I'm not new to Crippen, this past year serving as Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal had to be my most rewarding. I have 26 years of experience in education with various roles in Middle School and Elementary, such as teacher, instructional coach, interventionist, and testing coordinator. I am a mother of two and a new grandma. My experience has led me to believe that children should be at the center of every decision made by a school leader. I truly believe that if we look at the whole child and meet their needs, then we will ultimately see growth in every child. I also believe that as school leaders we must be servant leaders for our students and teachers. My number one goal is building trusting relationships with the members of our school community, students, and parents.
